Job Description

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create promotional videos for books, campaigns, events, and seasonal marketing initiatives.
• Produce engaging short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and Stories optimized for each platform.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, sound effects, and background music to enhance video quality.
• Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content teams to develop creative video concepts.
• Ensure all videos align with Wafilife's brand identity and communication style.
• Manage multiple video editing projects while meeting deadlines.
• Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and media libraries.
• Stay up to date with the latest video editing techniques, social media trends, and AI-powered editing tools.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, resolutions, and audience engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Film, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in video editing, content creation, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (experience with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, and audio editing.
• Strong understanding of social media video formats and platform best practices.
• Creative mindset with a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects under deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.
• Experience with AI-powered creative tools is an advantage.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required.
