Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, an excellent communicator, and enjoys meeting new people, negotiating partnerships, and turning ideas into successful business collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers, authors, educational institutions, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
  • Reach out to potential partners through meetings, calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and partnership agreements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to execute partnership campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Monitor partnership performance and prepare regular business development reports.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and business opportunities using CRM or internal systems.
  • Represent WafiLife professionally at meetings, book fairs, exhibitions, and industry events when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, partnership management, or account management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently as well as within a team.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and business events when necessary.
